Welcome to Lyndor CL Campsite—a peaceful, family-run corner of the beautiful Wye Valley, created for people who want more than “just a pitch.” Here, it’s about space to breathe, quiet mornings, starlit evenings, and the kind of countryside calm that stays with you long after you’ve packed up and headed home.

Nestled in one of the UK’s most scenic landscapes, Lyndor is perfectly placed for walkers, cyclists, paddlers, and explorers—or anyone simply craving a slower pace. Whether you’re arriving in a caravan or motorhome, you’ll find a welcoming base that’s simple, well cared for, and refreshingly unspoilt.

We’ve built Lyndor around what matters most to our guests:

  • A tranquil setting that feels like a real escape

  • A warm, personal welcome from people who genuinely care about your stay

  • A great location for discovering the Wye Valley’s views, villages, riverside paths, and local pubs

  • A relaxed atmosphere—where you can switch off, reset, and enjoy the outdoors again

The site was the feature backdrop at the Caravan and Motorhome exhibition for the Caravan and Motorhome Club which highlights the sheer beauty of this rural gem of a camping site.

There is a road track through the campsite to make access on and off the site easier in wet weather. The centre of each pitch is marked by a numbered peg and guests can park their units at an angle of their choice.

The site is an ideal centre for walking, cycling, fishing, visiting local places of interest or just relaxing on site.

We have our own fishing beat which is a mile downstream from the site and provides great sport for coarse as well as game fishermen. All bookings need to be made through our Foy Bridge Fishery website.

For those guests who enjoy canoeing and paddle boarding we have a dedicated landing point close to the caravan field.

We are now taking bookings for the period 1st April – 31st October 2026
